I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Approved Clinical Supervisor who lives and works in Campbell River on Vancouver Island. I have a Bachelors degree in Child and Youth Care and a Masters Degrees in Counselling Psychology both from the University of Victoria. I also have a certificate in Expressive Play Therapy through The Justice Institute.
I worked for many years in a non profit setting in my community specializing in supporting children and youth who have experienced sexual abuse or assault, family violence, and trauma. For the last 10 years I have worked in private practice and I see a lovely balance of children, adolescents, and adults.
Currently I see a variety of clients and some of my areas of specialty include: working with first responders (firefighters, paramedics, and police), grief, children and adolescents, and victims of crime. I also am a clinical supervisor with the BCACC and I provide group and individual consultation/supervision for clinicians in private practice, at community agencies, and masters level students.
I love to work in a playful manner and in my free time I can be found walking the trails near my home, singing, dancing, and hanging out with my family.
